talent and a unique eye for colour, he started his

went on to create hundreds of scenes sold all over
Europe, South Africa and the Middle East.

Graham also
provided art for many style guides thus setting the standards
for other artists to follow. With a rare talent and versatility,
he started to paint with oil on canvas in 1996. Having
long wanted to express his creativity in a free and dynamic
way and for this reason chose to paint with a palette knife.
After years of precise fine work, he wished to explore
and 'let-go' with his talents. The warmth, light and richness
of colours found in the Mediterranean give him the perfect
inspiration and environment to stimulate and increase his
love for painting and he is now building up a collection
of fine paintings. Graham receives commissions, holds one-man
shows, exhibits in galleries and sells his work to international
collectors.
Graham Denison works with a palette knife, a metallic tool with a wooden handle,
not unlike a refined builders trowel and along with oil paint he mixes like
'buttery lumps of colour' straight from the tubes to his palette and then onto
his canvas. It takes a skilled and talented artist to use a palette knife,
using it to create dynamic, textured strokes, and subtle highlights not achievable
with a brush, the beauty of this tool allows Graham the total control of strokes,
colours and textures which in turn bring his originals to life, very different
to the often lifeless flat look of art rendered with brushes.
Graham is influenced greatly by 'Claude Monet' and other masters of the Impressionist
era. He is motivated with a purpose to source and encapsulate images from all
over the world, to bring you to them to enjoy these timeless works of art.
Graham Denison is fast becoming a much sought-after name with collectors and
buyers of Contemporary fine-art. At only 35 years young he has already appeared
on television, has taken part in numerous radio interviews and been featured
in many publications, all of which for many years to come, have set the stage
for him to become one of this world's recognised leaders as a palette knife
and Contemporary artist.
